HISTORIC PRESERVATION

Preservation of our nation`s historic buildings and monuments has played a key role in shaping and defining Hall Partnership Architects` professional practice since its founding in 1959.

Our practice through the years has expanded to include major adaptive reuse and renovation projects involving historic buildings adapted for new uses in character with their architectural, spatial and design vocabulary.

The Walk of Fame for Great Americans
Bronx, NY

Part of the Bronx Community College in New York City, the Walk of Fame for Great Americans was designed by Stamford White in 1901. Hall Partnership Architects restored the Gustavino ceiling tiles, tile roof, and built-in copper gutters, winning a Preservation Award from the NYC Landmarks Conservancy for this project.
