A 1930s building, the Vandenberg Learning Center underwent a $10 million dollar interior renovation to provide general classrooms and Dept. of Nursing and Business Administration offices for the

SUNY New Paltz College Campus. A main feature of the 1930s building is its 40 ft wood frame Clock Tower which burned down to the roof in the 1980s. As part of the renovation work, the Clock Tower has been totally restored in non-combustible aluminum materials with details to match the original. The Tower itself was pre-fabricated by Campbellsville Industries of Kentucky.
