In their own words...

  • The Hall Partnership has provided architectural services here at Collegiate School over the last decade. The firm is adept at solving difficult building problems as well as designing capital improvement projects. Our school is made up of four buildings from 1891 to as new as 2000 which is a pieced together complex which makes every discipline difficult, especially our infrastructure and utilities. The Hall Partnership seems to make it all so easy, always sensitive to our needs as well as being very responsive. In the 28 years in this business I have never found a firm so easy to work with, it is with the highest regards I recommend to you The Hall Partnership.

  • The Hall Partnership has worked on a few projects on our campus providing a range of services. Those services have included a Feasibility Study for an addition to our Student Center, a Feasibility Study for a new Communications Technology Building, an assessment of effort to restore a building from the 1870's and full Architectural Services for the Design and Construction of an Ice Rink on our campus. Hall understand our needs and the requirements of the building industry as it applies to Codes, Restoration for the sake of integrity and the retention of significant architectural features, aesthetics and function. Their experience in educational facilities prior to working with BCC was important and valuable with regard to understanding our needs, assisting with the transition and fulfillment of the projects goals to the satisfaction of the end users. Attention to schedule, detail in estimating and budgets for services and construction were all handled to our satisfaction.

  • The New York Landmarks Conservancy supports the Pratt townhouses renovation project and recommends it for a Preservation League award. The Hall Partnership Architects has done an outstanding job rehabilitating these long-vacant houses and converting them to student housing. The job is phased so that four houses are being done at a time. Eventually all the picturesque Flemish revival houses, originally built as workers housing, will be renovated. We believe that students will vie for a chance to live in them. We understand that The Pratt Facilities staff and the student residents ofthe first houses completed are very happy with the results.
